For me, painting is more like setting out on an adventure than going on an organized tour—a space of play, experimentation, exploration, and discovery that grows out of an encounter with the material. Various images often serve as a point of departure and as a basis for composing a work, but the process remains open to changes and unexpected discoveries along the way.

In the workshops, we combine short, freeing drawing and painting exercises with longer, more in-depth ones. We experiment with a wide range of materials, such as watercolor on paper, acrylic on canvas, charcoal, ink, and more.

The studio offers regular, ongoing classes in small groups throughout the year, and it is also possible to arrange one-time workshops for groups, families, or couples.

The workshops are diverse and suitable for all ages—children, teenagers, and adults—with or without prior experience.
