Ein Hod Mentoring’ is a community project in the artists’ village of Ein Hod, where established artists mentor younger ones, fostering intergenerational dialogue and collaborative learning. Tal Zimra Colman originally created The Journey to the Land of Magical Sounds in the 1990s as a musical theater piece, which later became a beloved children’s CD. She had long dreamed of bringing the story to life as a book, and this project offered the perfect opportunity for collaboration. I illustrated the tale as a hand-crafted book, painted in watercolor and collage, which now awaits print, ready to bring its spirit to new generations.
