About

"For Moran Fisher, order belongs first and foremost to natural rhythms and living organic forms. It seems that in every detail of existence she discovers the vitality of color and shape. Her gaze lingers on diverse structures, approaching them with tenderness and compassion. At the same time, the pattern assumes an independent role— a chromatic and formal unit existing in pure abstraction, like a single particle among many. Fisher creates a template, surrenders to it, and disrupts it. Ultimately, the pattern becomes a close-up of a shirt’s fabric, as matter emerges and reveals itself from within the image. This is a moment of focus on life, of things organizing into meaning, an intimate instant of the garment’s unique fold, like a fragment of poetic memory."

In my work, painting becomes a form of ars poetica, exploring an aesthetic of beauty, symmetry, order — and their opposites. Organic objects and structures in nature, along with textiles, often provide inspiration and points of departure. Layered compositions invite multiple perspectives, with repeated shapes, folds, and wrinkles that suggest hidden mirrors, landscapes, flashes of light, and distortions. Some pieces celebrate the full spectrum of color, while others explore restrained monochromatic ranges. The artistic process feels more like setting out on an adventure than following a guided tour. Images and visual references may act as starting points, yet the work remains open to what emerges through interaction with materials and the act of making. Repetition, rhythm, and fractal-inspired structures create a meditative dimension,  revealing an infinite world within each painting, where every detail is unique yet part of the whole.
